HERE’S WHAT REALLY HAPPEND.
When I came back to work the following week, I immediately found the dragon in the cabinet.
I secretly took the dragon home, and then I waited. A week later, Dave Anderson confessed that he took the dragon, but it was no longer where he left it. I then made up the story that the dragon was sentimental and that I needed it returned. A day later, I told purchasing about the dragon hoping that there would be backlash. John Davis went above and beyond and The Lost Pet flyer appeared.
On 03/20/2025, the ransom note appeared.
I am not sure who made the ransom note OR the footprints that appeared on 03/21/2025, but I was excited to see them because it took suspicion off of me.
On 03/25/2025, I replied to the ransom note that I DO NOT negotiate with terrorists!
We have already established that the sentimental story was not true. Also, the woman in the photo is actually my mother-in-law.
The threatening notes that appeared on 03/26/2025 were again NOT from me, but I loved that more CHL employees were getting involved.
The biggest part of my plan was the crime board, the FBI report and the actual crime scene. This took many evening hours to create.

We all knew that this was coming to an end when I posted the kidnapper ultimatum on 03/28/2025.
That afternoon, someone posted another threatening note.
This past weekend, I made the summary video and the QR code which brought you to this webpage. On 03/31/2025, I paid the Skittles ransom. Thanks to Carol for adding the golden coins.
On the evening of 03/31/2025, I returned my dragon back to my cubicle. I also made little baby dragons for my coworkers in the ME department to remind them of the month long April Fools prank of 2025. Thanks for being AWESOME teammates and I look forward to many more fun times in the years to come!
